How much does a face lift / mini lift cost?
First of all, a few things about the different terminology. A mini lift is designed to address the bottom third of your face, which also happens to correct a majority—but not all—of aging issues associated with your face. Naturally, you could also need a full facelift—it's difficult to know until you've consulted with a trained professional. As for cost, Dr. Sidway' prices are highly competitive. Just watch out for very low quotes, since plastic surgery is the last purchase you want to cut corners on. But there's also great news—as a proud partner of Care Credit, Dr. Sidway can offer financing for your procedure, whether it's a full facelift or a mini lift.
How do I know if I'm a good candidate?
Several factors could make you a great candidate for a facelift, such as: A deep fold/line between the corner of your nose and mouth; No longer having a defined jawline; Wrinkles in your cheeks or sagging skin around your cheekbones; Or, loose skin/wrinkles/fatty cords in your neck. You could be looking to correct any one of these problem areas, or perhaps all of them. However, the best way to find out if you're a good candidate for a facelift is to meet with a highly trained surgeon for a consultation.
How long will it take me to recover?
Good news—you can expect to be back to work between just 10 and 14 days after your procedure, and to resume exercise by 6 weeks. In addition, you'll also need to minimize your sun exposure for a few months and ALWAYS use sunscreen when outdoors.
