How much does it cost?
That's a tough question to answer. Dr. Sidway' rates are very fair, but with that said...cost should never be the most important factor when choosing a surgeon. If you do decide to choose Dr. Sidway, know that we're a partner of Care Credit, which offers incredibly low monthly financing.
How do I know if I'm a good candidate?
Nearly any imperfection with your nose might make you desire a rhinoplasty. Some of the most common are having: A crooked nose; Bumps or depressions in your bridge; A wide bridge or wide nostrils; A hooked, upturned, drooping, bulbous, thick or full nasal tip; A nose that is generally too large for the rest of your facial features; Or, a nose that creates breathing difficulties (not allergy related). It's also key that your facial features are no longer growing or changing when you undergo surgery. Being in generally good emotional and physical health is also crucial. In any case, know that there's nothing wrong with wanting to change the appearance of your nose. With that being said, it's important to weigh all of your options and consult a surgeon before committing to surgery.
How long will it take me to recover?
Rhinoplasty is an outpatient procedure, meaning you're able to head home the same day as your surgery. Since your nose is a very sensitive area, you won't FULLY heal for 6-12 months. However, swelling will go away after a few weeks, and you'll usually only need 1-2 weeks off work.
